happy gemini season! bad boys of the zodiac, it’s our time to shine!!

we didn’t get to visit the traumatized horse ranch last weekend because one of the horses was sick :( apparently they’re healing, but we have to wait a few weeks. (a small price to pay to not further traumatize a horse.)

besides that, i’m lost in the forest of my manuscript, in a good way; i drink a lot of those diet cokes that come in the little rich girl cans and i’ve been watching a lot of movies because that feels like intelligent leisure time, and i have a productivity complex :)

the best film i’ve seen all year, sorry! i went into challengers expecting a campy sexy romp, which it is—but it’s also so much more. luca guadagnino’s direction is lush and exhilarating, the script is taut as a racquet string (sorry again), the story is thematically resonant but somehow paced better than most action films, the actors are divine, and trent reznor’s score is horny perfection. see it in theaters and it’s like attending a very low-stakes orgy, with popcorn <3
